Poise® Brand Donates Up To $ 1 Million In Product As Part Of First-Ever Tell-A-Thons That Breaks Postpartum Stigma

The inspiration for hosting Information Sharing Tell-A-Thons came from recent information from the Poise® Consumer Survey which revealed:

  • Surprise! Seven in ten women were surprised when they leaked urine for the first time. Over 11 million of these women are turning to feminine skincare products by default that aren’t designed to provide clean, dry and cool protection for both period and urine leakage.
  • Break the stigma: 89% said they felt that what happens after birth is not discussed enough and 85% want more information on what to expect. Lack of sharing leads to a two-in-one problem: it contributes to the stigma surrounding women’s bodies and prevents women from discovering the right solutions.
  • Maternity mark: 82 percent of those surveyed said they had a urine leak for the first time during pregnancy or after childbirth.1 More than a third of women who leaked urine said they avoided an event out of shame or fear of leaking urine.

The brand partners with Tell-A-Thons with three influential mom-authorities, including “Little favorites” Karen Alpert, “That chick angel” Angel Laketa Moore, and “Refined” Raffine Esquival to help boost One by Poise® charitable giving through candid and honest feedback from attendees. In collaboration with these social influencers, Poise® empowers women to find solutions that help them live their lives to the fullest.

There is still time to participate! “Refined“organize a Tell-A-Thon on December 13 at 12 noon ET on Instagram live. The “Baby Sideburns” recording on Facebook Tell-A-Thon is available here and “This angel chick“Instagram Tell-A-Thon can be viewed here.

One by Poise®, a uniquely designed 2-in-1 pad and liner that offers protection for both menstrual weeks and bladder leakage, can be found in the Feminine Care Aisle. One by Poise® is 10 times drier * than the primary sanitary napkin so women can feel fresh and worry-free every day of the month.

1 These results are taken from an online survey of a nationally representative sample of 1,173 women aged 25 and over, including an additional oversample of 200 new mothers, which was conducted between February 1st and on February 8, 2021, at 95% confidence with a margin of error of +/- 3%.
